History
Founded in 1999 by Greg Santaga, Green Bay Converting (GBC) has grown from a small leased workspace with five older converting assets and 25 employees to a state-of-the-art 625,000 square foot building with 30 highly automated and highly efficient converting lines and over 300 team members. This rapid expansion can be traced to GBC's unwavering commitment to our customers and those who ultimately purchase the products we produce. GBC takes great pride in the fact that virtually all of it's customer relationships span many years of continuous service.
GBC’s first home was a former food processing plant that had to be remodeled into a paper converting operation in a matter of weeks to begin serving the company’s first customers. Large walk in coolers and freezers had to be dismantled to make way for those first used converting machines. The same dedication and teamwork present at the founding of GBC exists today as the company continues to grow in its ability to meet and exceed customer expectations for timely converting of sanitary tissue and non-woven substrates. Business today at GBC may be more complex but our mission remains simple, “To creatively employ our people and production resources to allow OUR CUSTOMERS to be the most highly regarded marketers of converted tissue products”.
